OOC: que “Back in Black” to start playing.
Sup everyone. Sorry Clint’s been missing for so long. it started as no time, then became no muse, then became writer’s block, and then it started becoming combinations when i only had two post to finish the replies for (elvira-macabre and kalaanders, the two are one of each of the ones i owe you, which i’ll work on first and foremost until i either get them posted or completely give up.)
Since i have been gone for months, why don’t you guys punish Clint by sending in M!A’s. at the end of the day, i’ll pick 5 to go through with there starting point being Tomorrow. Just avoid things that will make him more violent than he already is. His powerset is designed to kill as easily as possible so…
Send me a ▸ for a 3am text message
Send me “Care to join me?” and I’ll generate a number and my character will react to yours asking them to join them in…
ROAD TRIP! || Closed rp with emilytheneko
Cassie sat on a desk swaying her feet idlely as she waited on one mr Clint to arrive.
Clint slammed a letter down onto the desk behind her. “Okay, who the fuck are you, and how did you manage to get mail to me when A) we’ve never met before and B) I wasn’t even in this universe at the time?
`She must be left handed… wait…` "Cassie," He held up two fingers just beyond the right peripherals of her left eye. "How many fingers am I holding up? No turning your head."
Cassie moved her eye to see but, “… I don’t know…” She couldn’t see his fingers as she stood straight.
"… You’re blind in your right eye, aren’t you?" His voice wasn’t pitying at all. Hell, he knew she could over come it, and in some of the universes she’d go to with him, it could most likely be healed. However… "Go home Cassie… this kind of life isn’t for you."
"No." She stared at him dead on, making herself clear she wasn’t going to give up on this, "I don’t need your horrid disabled talk cause its bull, I’m staying and I’m doing this." Tons of tiny orbs appeared as she spoke, "I’m prepared to fight for my position. I’m not going anywhere." The orbs tripled in size proving her seriousness.
"It’s not because you’re disabled… well, it is and it isn’t. Your own skills will probably be fine, but even if you choose to isolate yourself to be sparred the heartache, there’s still going to be times that people get hurt because those like us don’t get there in time or can’t be in two places at once. It’s not your safety I’m worried about, it’s your peace of mind."
"… Putting a crib into a shop… yes, clearly this won’t lead to people walking up and asking how much for it…"
"Obviously you haven’t been to my antique shop. People come in for things they need then what they want."
"Of course I haven’t been in your shop, this is my first time here."
"Mm…your kid before five in the morning.”
*Scoff* “Oh so you’re not going to take responsibility? YOU made half of him that’s your genes.’
Clint smiled while watching her, their conversation having guaranteed he wasn’t going to fall asleep anytime soon. “And you were worried you wouldn’t be a good mother.”
"It’s always a worried for any parent unless they despise their child. I promised myself I’ll never be like that." Remedy told him while rocking Samson back and forth slowly.
"Rem, I think he’s asleep." Clint whispered. "Probably best to put him back in his crib for now. Maybe we’ll actually get some sleep now."
"Alright," Remedy said while putting Samson back into the crib. He was soundly asleep. She crawled back into bed with Clint. "Hopefully we can get some sleep but as I learn it’s not always possible with a new born baby." She whispered
"Well, here’s hoping he sleeps for a little longer." Clint wrapped his arms around Remedy as she got near him. "Being a parent is a hard enough job when you’re well rested."
